1.  Job Title:  Full and Part-time Ultrasound Technologist

Specific Skills - Duties:   
  • Ability to perform various types of general ultrasound examinations
  • Excellent Knowledge of anatomy is required
  • Proven skill in the production of high-quality ultrasound images           
  • The successful applicant will have the ability to work independently with good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and patients in English.  You must be able to provide compassion and respect for the patient, family, and support persons.  Must be reliable and adaptable. 

Language:  English

Education: Secondary (high school graduation certificate)

Experience:  Minimum 1 year previous experience preferred  

Wage - $22.00 to $28.00 hourly for 40 hours per week.

2.  Job Title:  Casual, Part-time X-Ray Technologist
 
Specific Skills - Duties:   ​
  • You will be required to perform a variety of standardized and complex exams: You will be responsible for reviewing patient history, preparing the patient for the exam, explaining the procedures, and obtaining diagnostic images. You will also assist with patient management and provide a high level of patient care and radiation safety.
  • The successful applicant will have the ability to work independently with good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and patients in English.  You must be able to provide compassion and respect for the patient, family, and support persons.  Must be reliable and adaptable. Standard and extended hours of service.

Language:  English

Education: Secondary (high school graduation certificate)
Graduate from a recognized college/university program in Medical Radiation Technology

 
Experience & Certifications:
 
Registration in good standing with the CMRTO and CAMRT
Continuing education annually as required by the CMRTO
Professional Liability Insurance is a requirement
Work-based on all regulations and ALARA principles
Good problem-solving skills
Should be well-versed in infection control requirements and procedures
Experience Level: 1-5 years
 
Wage - $22.00 to $28.00 hourly for 20 - 40 hours per week.
